Good way for those who are not big flesh eaters to receive protein. Also, for those on a budget, the cost is great. Pine Nuts = Pesto!
We bought 2 lbs. of pine nuts to make Pesto from our crop of basil. So far we have made 6 batches into ice cube trays which work well to freeze, totaling almost 2-1/2 gallon Ziploc baggies full! So good and will last for 2+ years! Very good product, flavorful and fresh smelling! We bought 2 lbs. of pine nuts to make Pesto from our crop of basil.
